To prevent this from happening, it is recommended that you create a perimeter around each tree that you avoid when engaging in construction work so as to protect its root system.
Leaning: Very rarely is a tree perfectly straight. However, when trees begin to lean excessively and look as if they may topple over, it is time to take action. Look for exposed roots or cracked soil at the base of the tree. These are serious signs that the tree will fall and a signal to you to call someone who can safely remove the tree from your property.
